Building Sweet Success From Candy Samples To Full Pallet Orders
The new year started with great energy and the demand for Swedish candy is just as strong as it was last year. It is an exciting time to be in the middle of the vibrant Swedish candy trend. The Swedish market has never seen such high demand from all over the world, and it is fascinating to follow the fast market shifts.
It is a great joy to talk with new people weekly from many different countries who are interested in Swedish candy. Over the last months, the highest demand has of course been for the beloved Bubs candy in different shapes and flavors, although not so much for the licorice variations, which is a common trait among foreign candy enthusiasts.
As most people already know, Bubs candy is amazing, there is no doubt about that. But there are a lot of other great Swedish products too, which we really like to showcase because many do not get the attention they deserve. We have worked hard to highlight some of our handpicked favorites. We have carefully selected treats that we love and think others might love too, and we created various sample bags with a strong focus on vegan products. We have sent out hundreds of sample bags and have done our best to present everything except Bubs to shine a light on other fantastic options in the Swedish candy world.
In the beginning, the feedback was great as it still is today, but the return was not what we expected. We did not give up. We continued to carefully curate the pick and mix sample bags and sent them out to every customer who showed interest in us at Sweeds Candy. Finally, after some months of patiently packing bags every week, the candy started to get the attention it truly deserves.
Last week we started moving into our new warehouse, which we are very excited about. We are eager to see what the coming months will bring, as every week is different from the next. To start off the new times in our new warehouse, we took our first large delivery, which consisted of two trucks filled with freshly produced Swedish candy straight from the factories.
The amazing part is that the whole delivery, consisting of almost 30 full pallets, was for just one customer who originally received one of our sample bags. The candy finally did the trick and the order was filled with products we have never sold by the full pallet before. We are extremely happy and thankful for the trust all our new visitors have shown us. This is an incredible step forward for us in growing the reach of wholesale Swedish candy to new markets.
